The production of the touch terminals RS232 is set – in future, the PILOT Basic takes over the functions of this device. Service and repair will be further provided for all installations until the end of the year 2018; In case of unavailability of original electronic components PCE will have the right to offer compatible solutions to maintain the operation of the installed systems.

If you perform an exchange of the units, all control devices, power supply and filter will remain.

New modules are the terminal, the adapter board, as well as the comparator.

Terminal: The Basic Pilot terminal is larger and has different mounting holes. Connectors will not be used any more and – when replacing – an adapter plate has to be used.

Adapterplatine: The adapter board for connecting all the comparators is replaced by a patch panel per comparator as well as a LAN switch.

Comparator: The comparators 3, 4 and 5 have to be replaced by the comparator 7 and 8, which have the same sizes and fittings.

Cable: The cable between the comparator and control devices will be used further on. The cables between the comparator and the switch cabinet have to be exchanged as well as the cable for the power supply from the switch cabinet to the terminal. The additional installation of a LAN cable between the switch cabinet and the terminal is required.
