Pharmintech 2010 - ‚All expectations exceeded’

Pharmintech Besucher 2010

Pharmacontrol Electronic draws a positive balance from the first trade appearance Pharmintech Bologna. Excellent trade show progress for innovative Track & Trace solutions.

May 2010. The staff of PCE in Zwingenberg are highly satisfied, Pharmacontrol Electronic achieved with the initial trade show participation in Italy its targets earlier than expected. Martin Kühn, Director Sales & Marketing returns from Bologna with a positive report: „Our expectations have been exceeded by far“, he sums up all three days of the trade show. Since 2005, the industry expert of Pharmacontrol Electronic manages, amongst others, the comprehensive activities for the establishment of Track & Trace.

With the present extension of the branch office in Italy, PCE will continue to meet to a great extent the local requirements in future. An additional local service technician ensures optimal support for the increasing amount of Italian customers such as Pfizer, UCB and Patheon directly on site. The cooperation with OEM is thus further intensified.

In order to meet the continuously arising demand, this year PCE decided for the first time to be present with its own exhibition booth at Pharmintech Bologna. This year’s huge success forms the basis for the objectives set for next year. Already during the past three years, PCE was actively present with partners at the trade show. In addition, Pfankuch presented a batch feeder with PILOT, LAN-Smart-Camera and Wolke m600 integration. PCE further strengthened the positive cooperation with Wolke via presentation of the m600 Advanced.

At the Pharmacontrol booth there was a great demand for Track & Trace solutions. Correspondingly, the interest in the PCE Datamatrix Station with its different functions for the serialisation of folding boxes was extremely high. In addition, the exhibit of the Shipping Case Station – a compact control unit for the aggregation – was quite popular. The visitors were highly impressed about the easy operation and the graphical display.

This year’s trade show started under optimal conditions: The event has grown over the years and has gained growing interest of the worldwide community of the pharma and parapharma industry. With more than 300 exhibitors on an area of 7.000 m² the trade show 2010 contributed to the international atmosphere and attraction of numerous customers.
